Tareen Education Foundation (TEF), established in 2010, is a nonprofit organization with a mandate to improve the quality of education in Pakistan, primarily operating in the rural areas of Southern Punjab. Its special focus is the provision of education to the rural poor, especially women. TEF aims to create centers of learning which provide students with an enabling environment to develop their faculties of critical analysis and independent thinking, polish their communication and articulation skills, increase their understanding of social issues, and make them active members of society. TEF is currently working with 208 schools and 8-degree colleges in the Lodhran district of Southern Punjab, reaching 52,000 students and 750 teachers.

TICER’s Advanced Courses aim to bridge the gap between academic and Industry requirements by improving ICT skills and employability for the youth of South Punjab. Pledges Inc is supporting the training of 40 students in a pilot program for Web Development (MERN), and is providing a generous financial aid package to make high quality training affordable for deserving students. The goal of working with TICER is to instigate the growth of the tech industry in Lodhran to link talent and companies in remote districts in South Punjab with the global tech services outsourcing market. The pilot launches in Q3 2023 and will be a full time training program spanning 6 months, followed by a 3 month apprenticeship and employment placement period ending Q2 2024.
Irfan did his BS in IT from Islamia Bahawalpur University, after which he a full stack course offered by Plegdes at TICER. Irfan learned several useful skills such as ReactJS, Tailwind and Bootstrap. He's really happy to have been received such a useful course in a small city like Bahawalpur, and believes that it will help him a lot with his growth
